Counselling Services Offered
In an environment of transformation and healing, The House of Hope and Healing offers counselling to individuals, to couples or to families seeking change or who are facing a crisis. Trusting in God and in a spirit of teamwork, all are given tools to experience serenity with God, self and others.
Counselling is offered in many areas, including:
- Alcohol and drug abuse
- Eating disorders
- Behavioural addictions
- Sexual abuse
- Co-dependency
- Gambling addiction
- Emotional abuse
- Marital relationships
- Crisis intervention
- ‘Dual diagnosis’
- Youth issues
Where relevant, a Twelve Step approach is used.

The House of Hope and Healing typically recommends to clients, as appropriate, the services of one or more of the following agencies:

Inpatient services for alcohol and drug treatment
Overeaters Anonymous, Anorexia/Bulimia Anonymous, CoDependents Anonymous

Currently (and in the past) The House of Hope and Healing provides (or has provided) space within our facility to not-for-profit groups such as Anorexia/Bulimia Anonymous, Back to Basics, 12-Step group meetings.
